FBA's EIF- Supply Chain Resilience fund is currently depleted for the 2025-2026 edition. To be notified of the 2026-2027 regulr Expert Implementation Fund, please email admin@atlanticfood.ca .
This initiative will assist Atlantic Canadian food and beverage producers and manufacturers to identify and leverage support from industry experts to overcome operational barriers through the implementation of quick, impactful solutions focused on supply chain diversification.
Opportunity areas include product formulation, co-packing solutions, packaging innovation, sourcing alternatives, and logistics optimization. These changes should be connected to adapting to the current economic climate, including the impact of tariffs or the threat of tariffs.
All projects can only begin after April 1, 2025 and must be completed by February 28, 2026. This includes documentation such as proof of payment and a final report provided as part of this project.
Acceptance into this program requires an assessment interview with a Food & Beverage Atlantic representative to determine program fit and stage of business. Completing this application and/or attendance at the assessment interview does not guarantee approval of funding.
Food and Beverage Atlantic will reimburse eligible expenses to a maximum of 75% for approved projects. Taxes are not an eligible expense and are the responsibility of the applicant to pay.
Projects are evaluated on a rolling basis. Please note that after application, it could take a few weeks to schedule an assessment call, depending on the volume of interest in the fund. Please take this into consideration when planning your project.
The fund is competitive, with more applicants than funding available. Completing an evaluation call is not a guarantee of funds. Only once you have been issued and signed a contract does this secure the funding for you.
